I walked into class with a head cold and coughed and some guy next to me actually shrank into himself and asked if I had swine flu.

The media has made us so fucking crazy that we don't even know:

1. It's just the flu. And it's like the flu's retarded cousin. It doesn't hit you as hard as the regular flu.
2. The regular flu kills more people than swine flu.
3. It doesn't come from a pig. It has componants from multiple strains of the flu. Just call it H1N1 and stop sounding retarded.
4. The flu involves sweating, vomitting, and physical weakness. It does not involve post-nasal drip. Learn your diseases.

People are actually scared. It's back to school, we're all playing hot potato with pathogens, just grow a pair and shut up about swine flu.

And Fox News, everything about Fox News is runny, soggy bullshit. It's disgusting, it's explosive, it's everywhere, and physically painful to endure. They just want something to be militant about, verbally. And they're the bat-shit crazy, screaming and kicking minority. Not a far cry from the mindset of the Taliban, for example. We're angry, and we'll be angry for as long as we make money from being angry.

And I hate insurance. And if you're not paying your own bills, shut the fuck up about insurance, because you'll hate it when you're paying through the nose for it and not getting the coverage you need. And why are you complaining about something you have? Spoiled brat needing something to be angry about. Because we're America and we love to hate things without knowing a damn fact about the things we hate.

I'd rather stay in Canada. Socialized programs work. Your library works. Your school works. Why not health care? Look out for all of us, not just yourself. No, don't even think about saying it. Jesus says to give your excess away. Jesus wouldn't like you depriving someone of medical attention they need, now would he?
